Affiliation
To maintain affiliation with the MJAS, regions must pay an annual affiliation fee of $500. Students who compete at affiliated regions have the benefit of their registration fee being waived for the state competition. Students who compete at an unaffiliated region are responsible for paying a $50 registration fee/student for the state competition.
Funds raised through the affiliation fee are used to support and maintain the MJAS, thus ensuring the continued opportunities provided by this competition to our state middle and high school students.
