Brief Bio 

After teaching middle and high school science, Dr. Schisler now instructs elementary and middle/secondary science methods courses in addition to other teacher-preparation coursework. Dr. Schisler has dedicated her career to promoting science education, presenting at a variety of state, national, and international conferences related to science education. She has participated in service with a variety of organizations including the Association for Science Teacher Education, George Washington Carver National Monument, National Science Teaching Association, Science Teachers of Missouri, and Missouri Department of Conservation.
